The Pranava Life Classes
We Have Something for Every Yogi
Yoga Is For Everyone and Every "Body"
One of the wonderful things about Yoga is that anyone can practice. Yoga meets you where you are.
Whether you are just starting to consider joining a yoga class or have been practicing for years, yoga brings a new challenge every time you are on the mat.
We are excited to offer Yoga classes geared towards beginners, athletes or seasoned yogi's. From Vinyasa Slow Flow to Restorative and Yin Yoga to Yoga Shred Inspired Yoga.
We will also be offering Barre Classes starting in the Spring 2018 and look forward to seeing you either 'on the mat' or 'on the barre'.
Vinyasa Slow Flow
The word “vinyasa” can be translated as “arranging something in a special way,” like yoga poses for example. In Vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. This class is great for yogi's from Beginner to Advanced with many variations of asanas (poses) provided.
Yin Yoga is the perfect counter to our Yang filled lifestyles. By holding the asanas for longer time frames, and focusing on the mind and breath, you allow the body to truly deepen. Getting into the deeper tissues and joints and allowing the body to heal itself through the practice. Often the mind itself can be the biggest challenge in the practice of Yin, as it will try to tell the body what and how to feel. A great practice to get into the deep self.
Yoga-Shred is a fun, powerful practice that combines HIIT training with yoga, all rolled into one great hour! Warm up that body, then get that heart rate up and that blood pumping while toning and building strength. We'll work that core, those legs, and that entire body with a great series of moves designed to keep the body aligned as we safely move through the sequences. Take your body to the next level and have some fun doing it!
Power Slow Flow
We'll move slow and mindfully while working the entire body in some powerful flows. We'll be moving slower, but not necessarily easier! Feel the burn while you sit in Utkatasana for 30-45 second holds, plank for 1+ minutes, and more! Line the body up and work it all from head to toe while we simmer through the flow together.
A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends.
